Welcome to the very first Sporadic Giveaway by yours truly! :) I was talking to my boyfriend one night, and just randomly decided to host a giveaway for my lovely readers who have been following me for quite a while now, especially when I switched over to this new site last November. A huge thank you to all of you, really. All your comments always puts a smile on my face and they never fail to make my day! Thought it'll be fun to have a giveaway, though I'm a little nervous since it's my very first giveaway! I've always loved receiving surprise packages in the mail, and thought I'd make someone happy the same way.

this is a great idea, sarah! you’re too sweet! let me see, what do i like to take pictures of… gosh! i can’t believe it but i’m gonna say i’m one of those people who sits down at a restaurant/cafe/my bedroom, sees the food in front of me and thought, how awfully blissful i’m getting my tummy filled and goes to take my camera to take a picture of, you guessed it, FOOD!
I like the design of the post and the graphic thingie :)
Well, other than taking photos of you and me, I also take photos of where I’ve parked my car (not so much because I love it, but out of necessity).
Anyways, I love you and miss you!

Man, oh, man. It’s difficult to say what I like taking pictures of… I don’t take very many (and am not exactly very good at it…) but when I do take pictures, I like to capture memories and random images of beauty that my head can use to spin stories out of. It sounds crazy but sometimes, it makes certain images even more beautiful. It’s hard to explain… :P
Awww, how lovely. I’ll blog about this.
As for my answer, I like taking photos of my daily life and the pretty things I see, because those photos will be a record to look back on and remember in the future.

I love taking all kinds of photos but one of my favorites would probably be the candid moments, such as a baby trying to walk or a friend laughing so hard – catching that precise moment is definitely priceless.

I love taking photos of people; I think it is most fun to try to capture the personality and spirit of someone in a photo. The ones where it all comes together and their essence just seems to spill out of the captured moment are just the best! Have a wonderful week, Sarah!

this sounds lovely, what a great idea. i love photographing almost anything, the simple things in life. but if i had to choose, it would probably be food, it can be so pretty :-)

I have only just started learning about photography and blogging, but I wanted to do so because looking for beautiful things around me to photograph helps me take stock of my day and appreciate all the little things around me that bring me joy and make life worthwhile. I love taking pictures of my family and my dog because it reminds me of how much I’m loved and how much I love them in return. Every time I look back at the pictures I’ve taken of them, my heart warms up :)

hahaha. what do I not like taking pictures of? Usually it varies. At the moment, my camera is most often outside. I can’t wait for it to warm up so I can start experimenting with people, ect.

Oh Sarah, I have not visited your blog for awhile, I’ve been so busy but its nice to read what you’re up to again. I love the idea of this giveaway. I must say, im an amature when it comes to photography, but what I like taking pictures of is my family, theres nothing like capturing unforgetable moments in time. I also enjoy taking nature shots to paint from later, and every now and then an oufit post for my little blog.

Although I love taking photographs of landscapes and products etc, my absolute favourite subject to snap are people ! I love trying to capture all the happy, sad, quirky, amusing moments. I think that’s why I started doing the 100 strangers project awhile ago, which was taking pictures of random people I didn’t know and although it was one of the scariest things I’ve had to do (approaching strangers and asking if I could take their photo), it was one of the most insightful and interesting things as well !

I love taking pictures of my life, specifically my love, le Boyfriend. I love photographing the places I’ve been. I never want to forget anything in my life that was once really important to me. I wish I was better at photographing strangers, but I struggle to get over the awkwardness of it Haha. And in the spring, I absolutely DIE for flower shots. I can’t wait to use my new macro lens!
Oh, and I absolutely adore your blog design.
Wow….what a great idea for your first give away!!! It’s a tough one but i’ll try to shorten my list,lol.
I love snapping photos of food!!! I love fashion just as much but i find it hard to approach ppl esp in HK, and ask if i can take their pic!!! lol
So why do i love taking photos of food? I am the type of person that is willing to try out almost all types of food and cuisine, and find fun in exploring other culture through food. There are a lot of feelings and experiences that goes on while we eat and i see food as a way to express my enjoyments in life. Like a romantic dinner with BF or relaxing in a cafe and trying out some new desserts with a good friend. There’s art in food as well, such as the colors, ingredients, textures, sizes, and the way its presented.
I also enjoy taking photos on special vacations it captures that very special moment, which i can look back to, whenever i want=) I esp like snapping photos of things that spell out LIFE! It could be as simple as flowers to landscapes or greenery that makes me feel at ease, or just random objects that catches my attraction. There’s always that gut instinct when i know i need to take a photo of something that is too beautiful to be missed.
